Ms. Kiran Chouhan is the President and Artistic Director of I-RADHA. She is an accomplished Kathak dancer and a “Ganda-Bandhit” disciple of the legendary Kathak maestro Padma Vibhushan Pandit Birju Maharaj. She received her initial training at Delhi’s Kathak Kendra under the guidance of Smt Reba Vidyarthi. Her inherent talent was discovered by the keen eye of Pandit Birju Maharaj ji who then took her under his wing and trained her to become an accomplished Kathak dancer. She has traveled all over the world and presented not just solo Kathak dances but her own choreographed shows. Her dance abilities are not just limited to classical dance but extend to other dance styles like Bollywood and Folk. She has assisted Pt. Birju Maharaj in training Madhuri Dixit, a well-known Indian movie actress, for dance choreographies in Yash Raj Movie’s ‘Dil To Pagal Hai’ and Sanjay Bhansali’s Oscar Nominated movie ‘Devdas’. 

Along with being an excellent choreographer and dancer she is an astute and dedicated teacher. Her artistic abilities are not limited to dance but extend to Drama as well. During her stay at Kathak Kendra in Delhi she has acted in plays – “Mulla Ke Ghar”, “Siddharth” and many other productions. Ms. Chouhan has also acted in TV serials – “Baanya Pair Dahini Juti” and “Om Swaha” for Doordarshan International Channel - “Nishchay” a telefilm for Star plus Channel - “Ek-Do-Teen” directed by movie actor and director Sachin. Besides this she has professional anchoring and modeling experience. Her artistic talents also extend to writing poetry and fiction.
